Weathered granite and clovelly from Paarl Mountain, as well as alluvial soil.
Vinification
This bottle-fermented sparkling wine was made from carefully selected Pinotage, Pinot Gris grapes of the finest quality. The yeasty nose is attributable to the wine being left on the lees for at least twelve monts. The fine bubbles create a subtle mousse on the tongue, while the crisp taste lingers pleasantly on the palate.
