A full-bodied red wine, aged in new and second fill 300l French oak barrels. Wonderful layers of complex flavours develop on the nose and palate; rich, chewy currants, mocha, coffee and lingering cigar box. Soft, ripe, subtle tannins give this wine excellent structure for years of ageing, yet drinkable now. This wine pairs superbly with food and is just as enjoyable on its own.
