This follows onto a fresh smooth tannin structure on the mid- and back palate ensuring a lively persistent finish and making it an ideal “lifestyle” wine for summer luncheons or everyday enjoyment.

about the harvest: The grapes for this wine come from our younger Pinotage vineyards, not older than 10 years. This ensures that fresher, red berry flavours are captured in the wine. The vineyards are trellised on a 3 wire Perold system. Irrigation via micro irrigation. Two to three bunches per cane are left on the vine with canopy management during the growing season and the foliage managed to ensure balanced shade and sunshine on the bunches. This retains the fresh flavours and restrains from overripe prune flavours.
