in the vineyard : 11 Year old vineyard producing 7 tons/ha on sandy loam soil with micro irrigation. No chemical pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers or chemical weed control. Strict canopy management and cover crops to ensure balanced healthy growth and irrigation control to ensure optimum berry development

about the harvest: Handpicked at a phenolic ripeness of 24.5º B. Given three days of cold soaking and aerated pump-overs 3x per day. MLF in 300L French and American oak barrels (2nd and 3rd fill, 50% French Oak and 50% American Oak). Barrel matured for 14 months. Light fining and minimal filtration before bottling.
