Oak Lane Chenin Blanc/Sauvignon Blanc 2007

This dry white wine is a 60/40 blend of the two varieties with a clear pale-straw colour. The nose offers nuances of tropical fruit and green pepper. These follow through well onto the palate and are supported by a balanced zesty acid. The finish is long and fresh and should allow for at least two years of ageing if stored correctly. This wine drinks well on its own and is very versatile with light style dishes.
