Deep red colour. Good balance between fruit and structure. This juicy and velvety wine has ripe red berry aromas and is combined with a strong savoury character on the palate. It is supported by a good structure and has a lingering finish, which compliments both red meat and chicken dishes.

Serve with lamb chops served with baked potatoes on the side.

about the harvest: The grapes were handpicked at optimum ripeness, selected, de-stemmed and gently crushed. Cold maceration took place at 10-12 degrees celsius prior to fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Daily pump-overs were conducted for optimum extraction of colour and flavour. wines from selected tanks were blended and fined, and matured for 6 months before bottling.
