This wine is well structured, medium-bodied and fruit driven with a good mouthfeel. Intense layers of ripe berries, ends in a long aftertaste of dark chocolate and toasted coffee.

Origin: Paarl, Western Cape Situated on the foothills of the Hawequa mountain, overlooking Wellington.
Climate: Cold and wet winters, dry summers.
Terroir: Weathered granite, Clovelly Hutton and sandy loam soils in the lower parts of the vineyards.
Vintage notes: Wet winter, dry spring and summer with early heat wave before harvest. Ripening period was long and dry, resulting in small berries and concentrated fruit flavours. The age of the vines varies from 5 - 11 years.

in the cellar : Grapes are handpicked and meticulously sorted to ensure only the best fruit is used for vinification. Cool fermentation temperatures to preserve the fruit. Matured in stainless steel tanks for 11 months with a mixture of French and American oak staves.
