in the cellar : The wine, made from the three best red wine cultavars of the Tradouw Valley, was each made in their own style, and were blend just before bottling, to give the best of each cultivar. Cabernet Sauvignon (55%) being the dominant cultivar for its robust full bodied qualities, Cabernet Franc (30%) for its soft tannins and spicy aromas, and Merlot (15%) for its fruitiness. The wines were aged in new and second fill Nevers oak barrels.
