Stonehill dry Cabernet Sauvignon Rose 2007

Deep rose colour with scarlet flecks.
Fruit driven nose is filled with cabernet sauvignon character. Loaded with ripe cherry, plum and strawberry followed by clean spice and slightest hint of pomegranate.
Well balanced, refreshing palate with lively, full fruited flow. All the flavours the nose promised show in the mouth with just enough tannin to give firm grip to the full fruit. Oak does not show but its influence shows in the firm yet full fruited finish.
Wonderfully versatile wine that drinks very well on its own, well chilled, yet is a great partner to wide range of foods. Great in its youth yet experience tells that it will continue to grow in complexity over the next two years.
