Rich ruby core with wide, bright, purple rim. Ripe, red berry fruit on the nose with hints of plum, strawberry and cherry. Light floral notes in the background. Well rounded mouth with lively attack highlighting the supple tannins. More berry fruit develops in the mouth with gentle smoky note. Elegant with fine balance and backbone. This wine will go well with almost all foods. While especially good with meat and pastas, it also has the guts to stand up to light curry or Thai-style stew.
