Nose: Rich in dark aromas of plum, black berries and spice.
Palate: Medium to full bodied with a powerful palate basking in full ripe, smouldering aromas of strong spices, karoovelt, smoke, dark berries and plum. Big tannin structure well rounded by a bit of residual sugar - almost dry.
Serve with roasted Karoo lamb and sweet potatoes, or a good meaty lasagne.
