Avondale Snow White 2008

Soft creamy nose of peach, apricot and violets which is rounded off with subtle oak flavours. All these are beautifully carried through to the palate where the intense ripe fruit flavours combine in a fully round mouth feel, and a long structured finish.

Name: Bio-LOGIC and organic farming is essentially about using natural means to enrich the soil instead of synthetic fertilizer and employing natural predators and indigenous plans to repel pests. Snow White or "Kapokbos" (Eriocephalus Africanus) is an aromatic wild rosemary bush, which we us as cover crop in the vineyards.

about the harvest: The grapes, picked from organically grown trellised vines, were harvested by hand at 23 to 24° B.
