Mediterranean - 650mm per annun. Vmeyards on northern slopes and at the end of the valley hence slightly warmer conchtions.
Soil
Deep red soils. A mix of weathered granite and a small percentage of clay, Clovelly and Hutton structure.
Vinification/Maturing
Aged for 14 months in 225L American oak barrels. An 0,2 g/l egg white fining was used just before bottling. After bottling the wine was left for 10 months.
Tasting notes
Colour : Deep purple, red colour.
Aroma : Smokey, cherry and a bit earthy with a hint of mint.
Palate: Power carries to the palate, soft persistent tannins, beautifully integrated oak.
