in the cellar : This highly-approachable New World Sauvignon was created by legendary winemaker Zelma Long, in partnership with her husband Phillip Freese and Backsberg estate owner Michael Back. The wine has a harvest-hay color, with engaging notes of asparagus, tropical fruits, grass and minerals. Lovely and round in the mouth, with a silky satin feel. Nicely balanced, refreshing, with an elegant, lingering finish.
