This fresh, easy drinking Chardonnay has upfront tropical fruit, fresh lime and minerality completed by light floral aromas. The palate is smooth with subtle oak nuance and fresh finish.

Serve on its own or with light meat dishes, grilled fish or salads.

in the vineyard : Climate: Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and cold, wet winters, of approximately 600 - 800 mm or rain per year.
Soil: Table Mountain sandstone and Malmesbury shale.

about the harvest: Cool temperate conditions during the growing season resulted in small, concentrated berries. Veraison was even, therefore ensuring even ripening of grapes. The period was characterised by low disease incidence. During harvest, the cooler than average summer temperatures resulted in an excellent balance between sugar and acid. Lower yields deliver a well balances wine that offers intense fruit flavours.
