in the vineyard : Farm location: R45 Franschhoek Valley.

about the harvest: The Pinotage grapes were left on the vines until they reached 27° balling and then harvested by hand.

in the cellar : Yeast was then added and the wine was allowed to ferment until a sugar level of 90 grams per liter was reached. A Brandy alcohol was used for fortification and after being pressed the wine went into old barrels.
Wood maturation: 12 months in 3rd & 4th fill French oak barrels.
