The colour is a pale yellow. On the nose you get delightful aromas of litchis, fresh coriander, rose petals and white Turkish delight. The palate consists of gooseberries, pomegranate and yellow peaches with a refreshingly off-dry finish.

in the vineyard : Some of the oldest Gewurztraminers vineyards in South Africa are planted on the South Facing slopes of Weltevrede Estate. Rooted in shale and exposed to south eastern breezes, cool night temperatures ensures the development of attractive aromas.

in the cellar : A single vineyard wine planted in shale rock on the cooler south facing slopes of the estate. The vines bear small intense bunches and is harvested in the cool early morning hours.
