Springfield Colombar/Chardonnay 2000

This lightly barrel matured wine has a mouth-filling style, its roundness well balanced with the crisp tropical and melon fruit flavours of the Colombar grape. It is best enjoyed as a refreshing summer wine.

in the cellar : 77% Colombar, 23% Chardonnay, of which 15% older vintage 1999 Chardonnay was barrel-aged in second fill vosge 300 litre barrels. The Colombar was made in a reductive style with three months lees maturation.
