Vibrant red colour. Sweet berry fruit with added spiciness on the nose. Intense fruit flavours fill the mouth and linger on after swallowing, with a smooth tannic finish.

about the harvest: Both grapes used in this blend were handpicked from mid to end March at full ripeness.

in the cellar : The different cultivars were vinified separately with different yeast strains, specially selected to bring out the varietal character. Both wines were matured in small French oak barrels (33% new) for approx. 12 months, before a special barrel selection was made to create the perfect blend that is not dominated by either of the varieties.
