about the harvest:
The winter of 2009 was drier than the previous five years and was followed by an
exceptionally wet and windy spring. Summer was one of the warmest on record. In the
month of February, we recorded seven hours with temperatures above 30° C.
The strong winds and rain in October, which is when flowering takes place, resulted in a
20% smaller crop. The lower yields were compensated for by superb quality, with big
fruit flavours and exceptional mouth feel.

in the cellar :
Innovative winemaking techniques, cold fermentation with selected yeast strains and
lees contact for four months.
