in the vineyard : Soil: Weathered Granite
Growing Climate/Vintage Conditions: The vines are situated high on steep southwest facing slopes. This tempers the sun, ensuring cool summer conditions and slow ripening of the grapes with high natural acids.

in the cellar : The wine was pumped over and macerated for eighteen days on the skins and then let to barrels. Malolactic fermentation was completed in the barrels, and the wine was left to mature in the French oak casks for 16 months.
