Philip Jordaan Cabernet Franc 2006

Deep ruby core with fading edge. Delightfully attractive nose with ripe plum, hints of green olive and some pencil shavings. Touch of prune and the slightest hint of thatch. Very smooth and well flavoured in the mouth with lots of ripe fruit and slightly mature notes. Supple tannins and clean, well integrated oak. Lovely floral flourish in long, firm finish. Attractive now with potential to develop over next few years.
