Meerendal Pinotage 1996

The wine has a lovely deep red colour with a touch of onion skin. It displays sweet plum fruit and a touch of chocolate and forest floor on the nose. On the palate unfold some cherry and cedar wood flavours. The tannins are soft and well balanced with excellent fruit, but the wine has a great structure. This Pinotage has matured beautifully and has great depth and length on the aftertaste.
