Adoro Natural Sweet Mourvèdre 2009

The wine is made in a natural style, with balanced fruit and acidity to create something special to complement cheese.

Off-sweet on the entry, the full middle palate matches the weight of richer, heavier cheeses, while fresh acidity cuts through creamy, runny cheeses, and balances hard and milder varieties. An excellent alternative to fortified wines, it can be enjoyed with cheese platters, desert or on its own.

The wine presents a pairing to "just about anything" Ian says, while the off-sweet profile also works with a sweet dessert - and "not just cheesecake", as he points out.
