Intense deep colour with cassis, red berries and attractive oak spice on the nose. Full-bodied palate with red and black fruit, a hint of meaty, earthy, developed flavours are also detected. Long, dry finish.

in the vineyard : Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are picked from clone CS46C, which gives very typical Cabernet Sauvignon character, and clone CS163E.

about the harvest: The grapes are picked fully ripe from a combination of old and new clones.

in the cellar : The grapes were fermented in open fermenting tanks (kuipe). Matured for 22 months in small French oak barrels, selected 50% new and 25% 2nd and 3rd-fill respectively
