SylvanVale Dry Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2009

Appearance: Bright, clear; brilliant with a lovely strawberry red colour.
Nose: Medium intensity with fresh red cherry and strawberry fruit. A subtle touch of wood showing vanilla and a slight butter toastedness. The nose is clean and shows no faults.
Palate: The palate is fresh and clean on entry. The fruit lingers well on the middle palate and combines well with the wood. The follow through from the nose of strawberries and cherries is easily picked up. The wine lingers long on the back palate and with the balance of fruit and complexity offers an exciting finish to the palate. The fruit, acid with the alcohol is well balanced and the slight residual helps to link the components.

This wine chilled will go well on its own or with lighter salads, curries and fish.
