in the vineyard : The grapes came from vineyards planted in 1974 at an altitude of 185 to 195 meters above sea level. New clones were selected and planted in 1999 for the enhancement of more typical fruit flavours. The trellised vineyards face South East and West.

about the harvest: The grapes were hand-picked and selected for a fruity style of wine.

in the cellar : After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation the young wines were selected again.The wine spent 15 months maturing in 300l French and American oak barrels.
