Palate: A soft, multi-dimentional wine with coffee, berries and fruit flavours and the well integrated oak complements the palate. Lingering aftertaste with a well balanced tannin structure.

Rich and flavoursome red meat dishes, including ostrich steak and venison.

in the vineyard : Dryland, mainly bushvine vinyeards, except for the Shiraz. Warm, dry summers and cold, wet winters Pinotage comes from vines situated on southern slopes and about 350m above sealevel. Cabernet Sauvignon comes from bushvines situated mainly on level grounds with a slight South Western slope. Merlot vines are situated mainly on grounds with a South/South Eastern slope. The Shiraz vines are situated in the Darling area, Swartland region.
