in the vineyard : Trellised vineyards with supplementary irrigation grown on mainly decomposed granite soils.

about the harvest: Harvest commenced on 25 February and completed on 20 March. Grapes were harvested between 24.2°B and 25.6°B with a total acid of 5.9 g/l and a pH of 3.62.

in the cellar : Fermentation initiated in stainless steel tanks and underwent a series of pump overs until dry. Further maceration allowed before drawing off and light pressing. This wine spent 15 months in French oak barrels of which 20% was new. The balance in 2nd and 3rd fill barrels. Bottled in November 2010.
