Rich gold color with delicate honeysuckle and jasmine bouquet. Lovely quencher with a block of ice and slice of lime in summer.

Served ice cold over crushed ice accompanied by a slice of lime and a few strawberries in a martini glass. Alternatively served with desserts or served chilled with Indian and Thai curries.

Winemaker’s notes
Boplaas has done very well with Muscadel in the last few years. We are the only cellar in the Southern Cape/ Klein Karoo that got both a Platinum and Gold awards for the 2009 Muscadel at the Muscadel challenge as well as 4 stars in WINE Magazine. The 2010 Muscadel is even better than the 2009 and the 35 year old vines make a big difference.
