This light, sweet banana flavours is mainly the result of the two relative cultivars which is used in this blend. The success story of the blend results mainly for the wine lover that enjoys an elegant light-bodied fruity wine with a smooth, soft aftertaste. It can be enjoyed with light spicy pasta and meat.

in the cellar : Both cultivars comes from the Voor-Paardeberg region where low yield is cropped from the dryland bushvines where planted in shale and sandstone soils. This method creates wine with optimum ripe fuit flavours and a ready to be drink wine.

Only the healthiest Ruby Cabernet grapes are selected and harvested at 29 Balling, destalked and crushed. The acid content is adjusted before the juice is fermented in cement tanks ("kuipe") and pumped over the skin cap twice a day for colour and flavour extraction. Alcoholic fermentation takes place until the wine has reached the required sugar
