in the vineyard : Grapes for this Pinotage come from specially selected vineyard blocks in the cool climate Lutzville Valley.

in the cellar : The fruit is gently pressed and only the free run juice is used. Using selected yeasts, fermentation takes place at between 18–22 degrees Celsius for up to 10 days. For our Pinotage, the wine is pumped over the skins 3 times daily during fermentation to achieve excellent colour, fruit and body. After racking, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and experiences gentle French and American oak staving for 3 months to add complexity. This wine is produced and bottled in South Africa.
