Elegant and complex. Full bodied multi clone blend of Bordeaux varietals Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet franc, Merlot and Petit verdot. Intriguing aromas of cassis and dark chocolate are followed by hints of black truffle and cigar box, leaving a superb long lingering finish. A wine of great pedigree and the flagship of the Idiom range.

in the vineyard : Soil: Granite/Tukulu/Table Mountain Sandstone
in the cellar : These grapes received six days cold maceration prior to fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fermented at between 24-28°C for 1and a half weeks. The wine was then moved into 225L barrels, 50% new French and Hungarian oak for 14 months maturation.
