Bellingham Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Classic 1999

Colour: Rich, dark ruby/purple with black folds.
Nose: Enticing nose with intense smells of plums, soft berry fruits intermingled with aromas of coconut, hint of vanilla.
Palate: Full, forward fruit, well medium structured body with soft finish. Intense fruit with intermingle of coffee, chocolate and ripe mulberry. Creamy texture, gentle touch of vanilla.
Overall: Compelling wine with intensity that will reward maturity in the bottle yet already sleek, lush and very drinkable.
Food suggestions: Wonderful wine for stews, roasts and general winter fare. A must for steak and various grills. Also with veined cheese, mature cheddar and other full flavoured cheese. Do not forget the vegetarian dishes with brinjals.
