Ruby red in colour. Lovely intense nose of black current and ripe plums mingled with mixed dried herbs and oaky vanilla spice. The palate is rich and fruity with a touch of cinnamon that is carried to a long and pleasing finish by perfectly integrated ripe tannins.

about the harvest: The various grapes used in the blend, were all harvested at the desired stage of ripeness for this specific wine, varying from middle of February for Pinotage, and middle of March for Cabernet Sauvignon.

in the cellar : The different cultivars were vinified separately with different yeast strains, specially selected to bring out the varietal character. Both wines were matured in small French oak barrels, using 2nd and 3rd fill barrels.
