about the harvest: Harvest Date: 6 & 27 January 2010
The grapes were allowed to reach optimum ripeness at 24 ° Balling before being hand harvested. Careful selection in the vineyard resulted with only the best grapes being picked for this wine.

in the cellar : After de-stalking the grapes were pumped into stainless steel 10 ton fermentation tanks. The mash was kept cold for two days before the yeast was added. Fermentation at 25 °C for a period of 7 days was allowed to complete before the skins were pressed with a yield of 648 liter per ton. The resulting wine has rich fruity crushed berry flavours, complemented by hints of banana and ripe plum.
