Colour: Deep purple red with youthful vibrant rim.
Nose: Deep, concentrated flavours of brambles and red fruit. Integrated spicy notes from oak use.
Palate: The aromas develop tremendously in the glass or by decanting. Complex secondary aromas accented by lovely spicy notes from maturation in oak.

As a blend it is a fantastic wine to pair with a whole range of dishes. Gourmet Pasta bakes, grilled poultry or seared Meat or for pure enjoyment. Especially for pure enjoyment!

in the vineyard : The components for this blend are from different sites in the Bovlei Valley and from our vineyards en route to the Swartland.

in the cellar : The components are all treated separately until some 2 months before bottling - when the blend if finalized. In terms of oak management the main components are fermented and matured in French oak.
