The intensity of colour comes from the Cabernet grapes while the Shiraz adds slightly peppery, spicy flavours to a rich palate, prior to a smooth, fruit-laden finish. It should be ideal with most meat dishes, particularly red meats, poultry, game and full-flavoured cheeses.
