in the cellar : This is possibly the best food accompaniment out of the Kumala white blends. It is a 50/50 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Colombard and both varietals make fuller wines in the Cape than they do in their original homeland of France. However, careful selection of grapes from cooler climate locations, together with no oak aging, have provided some freshness and vitality.

It has a very pale straw colour, which is certainly not indicative of the exotic fruit flavours on the bouquet. The palate is well-balanced with attractive fruit and is followed by a clean, fresh aftertaste. It will match well with many fish dishes, chicken and salads
