"Night Wines, Light Years Aheadâ„¢"
"Nectar of the Angels." A blend of Semillon, Chenin Blanc and Gewurztraminer grapes harvested raisin like, with a gentle botrytis, hand picked over a number of nights late in the 1996 season. Lusciously textured with ample layerings of citrus and tropical flavours. Extended bottle maturation giving peach kernels and roasted almonds. Despite the natural sweetness (55g/l), it is appetizingly light, with an uncloying, clean finish.
