Flavours reminiscent of kiwi fruit and litchis. It is a full, fresh wine with a pleasant mouthfeel and a lingering aftertaste. It will complement seafood especially.

in the vineyard : Terroir ideally suited for Sauvignon Blanc, 370m above sea level. Open towards the sea with cool South-western breezes.

about the harvest: Harvested on the 9th of February 1999 at 3.2 tonnes per hectare. The grapes were brought in at 20.5° Balling.

in the cellar : The grapes were picked early in the day, crushed and left on the skins overnight. The young wine was left on the lees for an extended period.
Bottled on the estate on the 13th of August 1999.
