Bright, spicy notes initially-think cloves and white pepper-there’s lots of dark plummy fruit too, deftly underpinned by subtle oak spice. Ripe fruit flavours are offset against fresh grapey acidity on the palate, and there's a super balance between the dense, deep fruit flavours and tannic structure of the wine.
