The wine has a dark, plummy, purple colour. The nose is a combination of strawberry jam, red cherries, chocolates and turkish delight, sweet ending dry, with a good balance between the alcohol and the sugar.

about the harvest: This is a 100% Tinta Barocca Port, harvested on the 5th of March 1998.

in the cellar : After a short vinification the wine was fortified with brandy spirits and transferred to barrels and matured for 1 year in 300 litre barrels. For this special packaging a barrel selection was once again made.
