in the vineyard : This block planted in 2007. Younger Sauvignon Blanc blocks tend to give you better Sauvignon Blanc character profile wines. Meaner canopies with longer shoot length are aimed at with leave breaking at crucial stages and nitrogen introduction before and after verasion are important.

about the harvest: Early morning harvest from 30 year old vines. Handpicked at 23 balling.

in the cellar : Only free run juice was used. Fermented in French oak 300 - 400 litre barrels.
