in the vineyard : Pinotage and Tinta Barocca were both irrigated. The production for Pinotage was 15 ton per hectare, and Tinta Barocca was 13 ton per hectare.
about the harvest: Pinotage was harvested at 23° Balling and Tinta Barocca at 23,5° Balling.

in the cellar : Both wines were fermented on the skins and blended after malolactic fermentation was completed. Matured for 4 weeks in French oak chips.
