in the vineyard : Only grapes from the vineyard of Jaco Van der Merwe was used for this wine. Production was 8.5 tons per hectare.

about the harvest: Harvested at an average of 25º Balling.

in the cellar : Crushed and destemed, natural fermentation. Fermented dry on the skins. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentaion racked into 30% new American oak and 70% in French barrels where it was matured for nine months.
