Bilton Matt Black 2009

An intense, dark red colour.

The blend, mainly consisting of Shiraz, expresses aromatic characters of various spices such as nutmeg, pink peppercorns and cloves. Sweet wild berries, roasted dark coffee beans and chocolate cake rounds the blend seamlessly. The masculinity of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon carries the mid-palate beautifully and adds to the structure of this wine. The presence of Pinotage will create a balanced, yet aromatic mid-pallet. The linger-ing aftertaste leaves you with a classic cigar, earthy forest floor and spicy undertone.

Lovely with spiced chicken dishes, roast duck and will be a great food companion with any alfredo pasta dishes.
