To commemorate the founding year of Hermanuspietersfontein, we branded our lifestyle range 1855. In itself 1855 is a significant milestone in the world of wine – the year in which Bordeaux was first classified.

Tasting Characteristics: Black olive, cloves, lavender and cashews with brick red to purple colour The wine is medium-bodied with smooth tannins. This wine will generously linger in your mouth, exhibiting pure intensity with supple consistency. The Posmeester has an open structure, a dry finish wine a nice flowing balance.
