Good summer refresher with lots of fresh-cut hay. Pale of colour, prominent guava flavour with a subtle grass aroma to support the grape aroma. Bright yellow with golden hints; lovely ripe lemon aroma with crushed stalks, pineapple, orange peel and apricot with added complexity of country fruit. Well off-set by zingy acidity that lift and excitement right through to a long finish. Serve with hangklip poached in pear juice and a touch of ginger, or crisp roast duck with tangy orange sauce.
