Golden Kaan Shiraz Rose 2013

This deep salmon pink rosé is invigorating yet elegant, with prominent fl oral and strawberry aromas and hints of raspberry and cherry. The palate is juicy and racy with upfront berry
fl avours, complimented by a subtle, soft sweetness and lingering fi nish.

This wine can be enjoyed on its own or with salmon dishes, fresh salads and a variety of cheese, especially goat's cheese.

in the vineyard : The winter preceding the 2012 vintage was characterized by far lower than average rainfall. This trend continued into the summer, resulting in vineyards showing signs of lower soil moisture by way of the reduced berry size and bunch weight. A cooler ripening season with even temperatures led to steady and measured ripening of the grapes. Overall, the smaller berry size and lower yields promise great concentration, good quality and intense colour of the 2012 vintage wines.
